Preview: China Glaze "Let it Snow" Winter '11 Collection

Winter isn't even over yet and China Glaze already knows what they're doing next winter. This is their winter 2011 collection called Let it Snow

The colors actually remind me a LOT of the Naught and Nice collection. It includes the same christmas colors  like red and green and silver and gold. If you missed out on this winter one, the next one will be nice for you. Snow Globe, Twinkle Lights and Blue Year's Eve seem interesting.

Do you like the colors?

  4. I don't think this collection looks interesting or promising... the colors they've chosen are pretty disappointing, they could have come up with duochromes or holos or other interesting polishes, I'm pretty sure the collection will fall behind when the time arrives =/

  5. Just as I saw the picture I had to recheck to see if I had mistaken. But sadly this looks like a repeat of last years Naughty and Nice collection. I'll pass this one.
    Thanks for showing!

  7. Lol, I don't think it looks like the naughty or nice collection at all. Green, red, gold and silver are stock christmas colors, so they're gonna show up in every holiday collection china glaze does. If you get past the fact that the collections have the same color families, and look at the details of the colors as well as the overall feel of the collection, they're quite different. Let it Snow feels more classic...like Christmas in the 50's.
Naughty and Nice was less traditional, and tried to put a more modern spin on typical christmas colors.

Preliminary favorites for me are gonna be Twinkle Lights, Glittering Garland, Tinsel Town and Snow Globe.

In that case you're right. My first thought was naughty and nice, but it's true that they're usual christmas colors.
